These Japanese friction folders by Nagao Higonokamia have been made since the late 1800s and they are characterized by their lack of a locking mechanism & smiple protruding tang. Each blade is hand-forged with the makers stamp on it. The handle is made from a folded sheet of black stainless steel and the handle also hides the 3.5" triple layered SK steel blade perfectly when closed.
