We had the opportunity to help harvest olives with our friend Chris Pichler, who owns a beautiful olive farm in Paso Robles, California. Shortly after the harvest, the olives were cleaned and pressed, an amazing process to see in person. Now we are pleased to offer “Maya’s Arbequina” in the shop, an early harvest Spanish varietal featuring a herbaceous and grassy taste with mild notes of pepper.

This makes a great everyday olive oil that you can drizzel over salmon, fried eggs, hearty pastas, warm bread, spinach, kale and arugula salads.
